We got very lazy today and decided to just enjoy the city and just stay at the hostel.

Parque Cretácico has the largest collection of dinosaur footprints in the world. It's only worth visiting during the guided tours at lunch and 1pm.

There is a blockade in the city center with protests ongoing. Our program for the morning is out of the window. Instead we rest and visit Sucre's Cathedral in the afternoon.

We explore downtown Sucre and start visiting museums - Museo El Tesoro is a must ! In the afternoon we climb up the hill to the Monastery of Santa Ana de la Recoleta for a nice view.

Our first impression of Sucre is a great one. The city is celebrating 400 years of its university. It's full celebration. We visit one museum and rest.

This is our full day in the Salar de Uyuni. We watch a sunrise like no other in this vast expense of white salt flats. Then we visit Incahuasi island and other smaller sights around the Salt Flats.

Today we leave the high plateaux to cross more rocky terrains with canyons and greener pastures. We spend the night on the edge of Uyuni salt flats.

This is the first day of our crossing to Uyuni. Today is all about gorgeous lagunas and flamingo. The altitude is hard on us - but what an amazing experience !
