A quiet and relaxing day in Olinda before our bus to Fortaleza
We have visited everything we could in Olinda and we checked again, the San Francisco convent is still closed on Sunday. This means an easy and quiet day in our lovely hostel. There is a pool and good wifi, some nice open common area and we agreed on a half day rate with the owner to keep the room until it's time to leave for our night bus to Fortaleza.
We just rest and enjoy the facilities. Olinda has that kind of sleepy village vibe we like. We could hear some orchestras in the background at some point, there must be some more music somewhere.
That was a very relaxing day.
In Recife bus station, we try the local fast-food chain called Bob’s. It's a little bit weird the way to order. The burger has the protein, sauce and bread as default but you need to add everything else, from tomatoes, onions or lettuce as extra. Some fillings that we take for granted are chargeable... It's ok, not bad - just a regular sandwich. It was this or burger king, so at least we had something somewhat local.
Guanabara "leito" or bed class is not a real 180 degree like with itapemirim, it's fine but not what I was expecting.
