Bus: Cruz Del Sur night bus 160 degree Cama from Cusco to Nazca.

Day 98

The hostel we picked gave us a room without window and I am really glad for that. It means we can sleep a little later.

Breakfast in the hostel is basic but enough for us, we are a little low on energy levels.

We spend the morning getting ourselves sorted. We have our usual truckload of laundry post-hike to get done, then brought back the duffel bags to the hiking company's office.
Corpus Christi celebrations are still going strong and we spend a good while watching the parade going around in the morning. They have extended to more side streets.

Alexis finds himself a barber and I walk back to the hostel where I write down some postcards and emails.

For lunch we chose a random ceviche restaurant on Plaza San Francisco not far from the hotel. We made a great choice; the food is exceptional and their lunch set affordable. Service is a little slow but we have time and are enjoying the inner courtyard.

By the time we are done, it's a little early to get to the bus station but we genuinely have nothing much else to do so we get going.

The bus we picked is extremely comfortable, although we couldn't find a full 180degree seat on this route, the 160 are going to be just fine. I am fairly impressed by the private Cruz Del Sur bus station. It's clean and safe and seems very well organized. I was told that in Peru, there are no central bus station but each company has its own. So far, I like what I see. We have a 14hrs night bus to Nazca today. They even gave us a bag of snacks and a bottle of water.
