We enjoy a gorgeous winter day by a floating session in the Dead Sea from the hotel beach before spending the afternoon in the spa and hot pools.

For our last two nights of this world tour, we gifted ourselves a stay at the Kempinski. We enjoy the view of the Dead Sea from our chalet beach before going to our next fancy accommodation.

We started the day by a fun 2h camel ride in the desert. Then what should have been a 4h drive turned into 9. We faced a sandstorm and drove through the snow !

We spend the day exploring Wadi Rum and its beautiful expanse of colorful sands and sharp rocks. We meet our Bedouin guides, their genuine welcome at camp and during the day made this experience really memorable.

On our third day, we decide to leave later, revisit the main sites we loved and attempt to localize the Dorotheus houses. The latter ends up a little bit underwhelming.

We visit little Petra and hike back into the main site to see the Monastery and the side of the main trail we hadn't seen yet. We hike to the high place of sacrifice.

Petra treasury and Siq doesn't disappoint and the site is huge and full of amazing facades ! We walked 20km today and have only done part of the site. We focused on the royal tombs.

We visit Shobak castle first on the way to Petra and in the afternoon visit the Petra museum to get a maximum of knowledge. Finally we get the map to start planning the next 3 days.

Wadi Gweir is a superb canyon. You follow rivers at its bottom and enjoy the feeling of being so small along with the numerous colors of the rocks.

Karak castle this morning was huge, but lacked explanations. The dana valley is superb and our lodge ? An exceptional place with the most amazing view over the canyon.
